6. data outside Europe

Most of our infrastructure sits in the European Union. Our hosting provider Level27 is based in Belgium.

Some of the providers listed above are established outside the European Economic Area, or process data on servers outside it. Where that happens, the transfer is covered either by an adequacy decision of the European Commission for that country, or by Standard Contractual Clauses together with additional safeguards, as set out in the data processing agreement we have with that provider.

You can ask us for more detail on a specific provider using the contact details in section 1.

  • Correct data that is wrong or incomplete
  • Delete your data, where we no longer have a reason to keep it
  • Restrict how we use your data while a question about it is being resolved

  • Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent
  • Not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you
To exercise any of these, email us at hello@miure.com. We will answer within one month. We may ask you for information to confirm who you are, but we will not ask for a copy of your identity document unless there is no other way.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, contact@apd-gba.be. If you live in another country of the European Union, you may also complain to the supervisory authority there.

9. automated decision making

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have a legal or similarly significant effect.

Our payment providers use automated checks to detect fraud. If a payment is refused for that reason, you can contact us and we will look at it.

10. marketing and how to stop it

If you subscribe to our newsletter, you get a code for 10% off your first order and you receive marketing emails from us afterwards.

Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. One click and it stops. You can also email us at hello@miure.com.

If you have bought from us, we may email you about products similar to what you bought. You can stop this the same way.

Emails about an order you have placed, such as confirmations, shipping updates and return information, are not marketing and continue as long as your order is being handled.

11. children

miure.com is not intended for children. You must be at least 18 to place an order and at least 16 to subscribe to our newsletter. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone below those ages. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, access controls, and contractual obligations on everyone who processes data on our behalf. No system is completely secure, but we take this seriously and we review it.

13. changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version is always the one on this page, with the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you before it takes effect.
